Teachers record attendance daily. Punctual, regular attendance is critical for educational success. Transportation arrangements should allow children to arrive at school by 8:05 and to be in their classrooms fully ready to begin the school day by 8:20 a.m.
Keeping our students safe is very important to us, and that starts with knowing that they made it to school. We ask that you send a note to both your child’s teacher and to the address gro.l1490393402oohcs1490393402anocn1490393402a@ecn1490393402adnet1490393402ta1490393402 if your child will be absent or will arrive after 8:40 a.m. with details such as the specific date reason for the planned absence or tardy. If we haven’t heard from you and your child doesn’t arrive at school by 8:40, you can expect a phone call home so that we can make sure that your child is safe and accounted for.
Students who walk the front doors after 8:20 will be asked to fill out a “tardy slip” to bring to their classroom teacher. Regardless of what time a student walks in the front door, he or she will be marked tardy if not in the classroom by 8:20.
