Magnus Health has their own help desk at (877) 461-6831 which is the best place to start. If you have trouble accessing My Ancona to get started, you can email
Not receiving app notifications? You won't begin receiving app notifications each morning at 7 a.m. until you have completed each of the following steps:
1) Established your Magnus Health Credentials on My Ancona
2) Downloaded the Magnus Health app and
3) Entered the credentials into the the Magnus App and "allowed" it to send app notifications.
-- this should only be necessary if you declined app notifications when initially setting up the app.
Another trouble-shooting step is to un-install and re-install the app, which should give you another chance to accept the prompt for app notifications. Here are iPhone/iPad instructions and Android instructions.
It is also worth mentioning that you do not need to receive the app notification to fill out the daily reminder. You can simply open the Magnus Mobile/Magnus Health app and complete the process. Setting a daily calendar reminder can help you to stay on top of this, and will be less likely to be missed than an app reminder.
A: Only one parent/guardian needs to fill out the daily screening. If a second parent attempts to fill it out, the system will show an alert that it is already completed.
A: Yes. Parents of parallel learners must still fill out the daily wellness screening. This is especially important since parallel learners occasionally are invited to come on campus for outdoor events. The daily screening may be completed at any time of the day for parallel learners.
A: Once you’ve set up a password and signed in on your app, you will receive a daily “App” notification from Magnus app titled “Ancona Daily Wellness Screening” each morning at 7 a.m. This is a reminder to open the app and fill out the daily screening - you can fill it out any time after midnight, and it will remain active until that night at 11:59 p.m. It cannot be done the evening before.
Families of in-person student must complete the daily wellness screening before 7:30 a.m. Ancona will run a report each school day morning and send an email reminder to parents who haven’t submitted the screening on time. Families of students attending parallel classes are asked to complete the report daily, but it can be done at any time of the day.
Since it is important to stay safe and symptom-free every day, the wellness check-in must be completed on weekends and holidays as well. However, it can be completed at any time of the day.
A: If you need help determining if a symptom is viral in nature, please see our Symptoms Infographic. If you are still unsure, please err on the side of caution and indicate the symptom in your report.
If the wellness report indicates that you must stay home, please review the COVID-19 Decision Tree to see how to get approval to return, email the appropriate staff, and email .
Thank you for your continued partnership and support to help keep our community safe.

A: To access your child’s Vital Health Record, click on the Magnus Health tile from the Parent Resource Board of My Ancona. Click the “Complete now” button next to your child’s record, and fill in all of the required information. When you are done, you will “Submit for approval”.
Note that the old "Medical" tab of each students record remains as "read only" for the 2020-2021 school year.
A: Our process of migrating to Magnus Health will begin in December 2020, and will be completed for the 2021-2022 school year. We have exported/imported allergy, condition, and medication information from the My Ancona system into Magnus Health, and locked down the ability for parents to make changes directly in the “Medical” area of My Ancona. Note: as of Dec 7th 2020, medications info is not yet imported). In January, we will begin using Magnus Health to track the administration of medications and for other visits to the school nurse.
For the remainder of the 2020-21 school year, we will continue to use physician and insurance information on file in My Ancona unless parents have been proactive and updated this information in Magnus Health. Note that this information could not be exported/imported to Magnus Health.
After contracts are signed in March, we will ask all returning families to update their child(ren)’s Magnus Health "Vital Health Records", which includes "Health Emergency Contacts". Magnus Health will also be used to collect physical exam forms, dental forms, and immunization related forms directly in the Magnus Health app.
In the summer of 2021, we will remove all medical information on file in the old My Ancona system, and will require all families to have an updated health record in Magnus Health.
A: Ancona always contacts parents before attempting to reach other emergency contacts. Beginning in 2021-2022, we will use “Health Emergency Contacts” as listed in the student’s Magnus Health "Vital Health Record". Since emergency contacts are also currently listed in My Ancona, contacts listed in either location will be valid for the duration of the 2020-2021 school year.
A: Required documents for the 2021-2022 school year will be displayed as options starting in March 2021. You and your doctor will be able to upload or fax records directly into your child’s Magnus Health requirement.
A: These plans remain on file if you have submitted them for the 2020-21 school year. Unless there have been changes, there is no need to re-submit them until you are prompted to do so for the 2021-2022 school year.
