For the 2021-2022 Academic Year, After School will begin on Wednesday, September 1.

From Dismissal until 5:45 PM each day, After School provides a safe and nurturing environment for students to learn and play in a less structured program than that of the school day. Every day of the week students are dismissed from their classrooms into the Commons. Our activity facilitators provide leadership and instruction to foster creativity and provide avenues for self-expression through planned activities.

After School is also an excellent opportunity to work on class assignments. Our Homework Help serves primary and middle school students, giving them a quiet room and subject matter support guided by experienced facilitators.

Middle School Lounge

The Middle School Lounge is a part of the After School program and incurs the same cost per child. 5th-8th grade students will check in with staff in the Mitchell Commons and then have access to the playground, Commons, and supervised play in the gymnasium. Beginning at 4:30 p.m. in Sylvia’s classroom (Room 201), middle school students can socialize, browse books and magazines, use personal electronic devices, or get a jumpstart on their homework.

Late Pick-Up Fee

The Ancona After School program and Middle School Lounge officially end at 5:45 p.m. After 6:00 p.m. you are charged $2.50 per minute.
