Parents must complete annual health action plans for students with allergies, asthma, diabetes, or other diagnoses that require daily or onsite medication. The parents are also required to provide the school with any medication listed on the form (EpiPens, inhalers, etc.). Depending on the severity of an allergy, families in a particular classroom may be prohibited from sending certain foods to school with their child.
