Setting up BlackBaud ID for My Ancona
If you received an invitation to set up your BlackBaud ID, you're in the right spot. Signing in for the first time requires setting up your account (ideally linking it to your Google login or Apple login). Once this is done, signing in will be quick and easy.
Step 1: Visit My Ancona at https://anconaschool.myschoolapp.com
Step 2: Enter the full email address that Ancona has on file for you and click "Next."
Step 3: You may receive a notice "Your username is being converted to use BlackBaud ID with your email address... Click "Continue."
Step 4: We highly recommend using the "Sign in with Google" or "Sign in with Apple" method rather than choosing a password. While creating a password is an option, the password strength requirements (including that you change it every 3 months) can be avoided by using the "Google" or "Apple" method. (See diagram)
Step 5: Apple or Google will ask you to sign in and connect the accounts -- follow the on screen instructions.
Step 6: You are now signed in! Depending on the status of your application/enrollment, you should see your child's name along with some options such as filling out an application, signing an enrollment contract, etc.

How do I sign in once I've set up my account?
1. Visit My Ancona -- there is a link on the upper right corner of the Anconaschool.org website for easy access
2. Enter your full email address. Check the box for "remember me" so that you won't have to type it every time (on that browser).
3. Click the button for "Sign in with Google" or "Sign in with Apple" (depending how you signed up). Hint: Don't try to enter your Google or Apple credentials in the spot on the login screen for Email address and Password (you'll only use these if you established a password instead of using the recommended "Sign in with..." option.
4. Depending on your browser, you may have to authenticate with your Apple or Google account -- Apple makes this easy on Safari, and Google makes it easy on Chrome. -
I lost my email inviting me to set up a BlackBaud ID - how do I sign in?
In some cases after you ask to switch email addresses, you'll receive an invitation to set up a BlackBaud ID.
You don't need the email to sign in. Simply use your full email address and follow the instructions for "Signing into My Ancona for the first time" on this page. -
What if I changed email addresses?
Please send an email to registrar@anconaschool.org from your new account if you change email addresses. We will set you up with a new BlackBaud ID and let you know when it's ready for you to set up.
